Box Score GLEN ELLYN - After a pair of consecutive losses, coach Shawn Chism's team needed a big win. Prairie State delivered in a big way on Saturday.

The Pioneers edged College of DuPage 60-56 to get back to the .500 mark.

Kimani Thorton led the way with 17 points and three steals. Cymone Brown had 13 points while Kierra Reeves scored 11 to round out the double-digit scorers. Both Reeves and Thorton finished with double-doubles. Reeves had 17 and Thorton added 10 boards and three assists. 

Prairie State (2-2) will host Illinois Valley on Tuesday.
