CHICAGO - Prairie State forced 42 turnovers in a 98-18 victory at Olive-Harvey on Thursday.
The Pioneers held Olive-Harvey to six points in the first quarter and four points in the second quarter and took a 54-10 lead into halftime.
Dominique Hollins led Prairie State with 10 steals.
Cymone Brown had seven while
Riley Gaynor had six.
The Pioneer scoring was well spread out.
Gia Wright and Hollins each had 18 while Gaynor, Brown and Thorton had 14 apiece.
Wright led the Pioneers with 14 rebounds while
Kierra Reeves had nine points and 11 rebounds. Brown's vision led to many easy baskets. She finished with eight assists. Prairie State shared the ball well finishing with 30 assists as a team.
The Pioneers (3-3) will travel to Wright on Saturday.
