Box Score JOLIET - Prairie State struggled in the first half and trailed going into half.
But, the Pioneers found their rhythm in the middle of the second half and cruised to a 75-64 victory on Thursday. 
Prairie State trailed by five heading into halftime. The game turned with 10 minutes left in the second half when the Pioneers when on a 12-0 run to take the lead for good. Prairie State made all the free throws it needed to make down the stretch to come out with the win. 
Prairie State (2-1) was led by 
Jared Johnson's 21 points. 
Rashaad Williams was also solid for the Pioneers scoring 18 points while 
Tyler Houston added 17 points. Johnson had a double-double adding 13 rebounds. 
Brelon Hill had three blocks and nine rebounds.
The Pioneers will play at South Suburban next Thursday.Â
