CHICAGO HEIGHTS - Malcolm X played strong first half defense, but Prairie State figured things out in the second half.

Prairie State (8-3) trailed by six at halftime as the Hawks smothered
Jared Johnson holding him to eight points in the first half. He erupted for 14 in the second half despite having defenders draped all over him. Johnson did it all for the Pioneers finishing with 22 points, 14 rebounds, three blocks and two steals.
Hill added a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds. He also had three blocks and three steals.
Rashaad Williams added 14 points.
Prairie State will host Kishwaukee on Tuesday looking for its fourth win in a row and its sixth in seven games.
