Kankakee, Ill. --- Prairie State scored early and never relinquished the lead in a 3-0 victory over Kankakee on Saturday. 

Alejandro Lopez got the Pioneers on the board with a goal in the fourth minute. It was one of two for Lopez in the game. The Pioneers took a two-goal lead and extended the lead with another in the second half. 

Michael Fulop also scored a goal for Prairie State. 

Romulo Dorea and Antonio Leal each had assists for the Pioneers (2-0). Ryan Gayton and Jose Salgado combined for six saves in goal.
