Box Score CHICAGO HEIGHTS - Prairie State had been reeling after three consecutive losses. 

However, the Pioneers played a solid game to end the losing streak defeating rival Waubonsee 1-0 on Tuesday. 

After a hotly contested first half, Prairie State broke through three minutes into the second half. A corner kick produced a scrum in front of the net and Andres Osorio poked the ball into the back of the net with an assist from Michael Fulop. 

The Pioneer defense was mostly dominant throughout, but goalkeeper Jose Salgado was up to the task anytime he needed to be. He finished with 10 saves on the day. 

Prairie State will look to make it a winning streak at Bryant and Stratton (Wisc.) on Saturday. The match is set to start at noon.
