HOMEWOOD, IL - Prairie State split a pair of matches against Elmhurst and Chicago State on Sunday.
The Pioneers defeated Elmhurst 5-4 and fell 7-2 to Chicago State.Â

Prairie State's doubles teams swept Elmhurst carrying the Pioneers to victory.

Marek Slojewski cruised to a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles.Â
Renan Kormann and
Richard Ngwarwi followed suit with a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
Panashe Garah and Nehemiah Molla (No. 3 doubles) dominated their opponent 6-1 to complete the doubles sweep.
Ulises Barrades (No .3 singles) cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 win. Hensley Forbes (No. 4 singles) took care of his opponent 6-1, 6-2.
Chicago State 7, Prairie State 2
Kormann picked up a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
Dieltiens and Slojewski won their second match of the day 6-4 at No. 1 singles.
The Pioneers will square off against Millikin, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Hamline and Hanover on Sunday.
