CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - Before the second overtime of the Region IV semifinal between Prairie State and Carl Sandburg, Pioneers coach Carlos Reyes pointed at his heart and individually told them "this." 

Prairie State responded to their coach's request in the middle of the second overtime when team captain Henrik Markhoff found El Kati Taoufik who hit the back of the net giving the Pioneers a 1-0 victory on Tuesday.

The win sends No. 4 Prairie State to the Region IV final against the winner of Triton and Morton. If Morton wins, Prairie State will host if Triton wins the Pioneers will travel to River Grove for Saturday's final. 

The Chargers made life difficult on Prairie State all match including a one on one attempt with Pioneer keeper Torben Busack who dove to his left for a beautiful save. Busack, an All-American nominee, finished the match with six saves.
