Box Score 2 CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - Prairie State came out swinging hot bats in a doubleheader against College of Lake County on Tuesday.
The Pioneers scored 10 runs in the first two innings and cruised to a 13-2 victory in five innings. Unfortunately, the Lancers got even in the second game taking a 7-5 decison.

The Pioneers bombarded the Lancers scoring 10 times in the first two innings.
Brooke Dusseau and
Hannah Bilinski each cranked homers in those two frames. Bilinski's homer was a 3-run shot while Dusseau hit a 2-run homer and drove in four in the game.
Shaelynn Svoboda and
Pam Muth led Prairie State with three hits apiece. Dusseau had two hits. Svoboda and
Bethany Adney each drove in two runs.
Dusseau picked up the win in the circle throwing five innings of two-run ball.
College of Lake County 7, Prairie State 5
The Lancers got even with the Pioneers in the second game.
Prairie State fell down six runs made a valient effort but couldn't quite come back.
Bilinski and
Kristina Adney each had two hits.
Kristina Adney had a big two-run single in the tying run to the plate but Prairie State was unable to draw even.
Prairie State will host Joliet Junior College on Wednesday.
