Box Score CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - Prairie State was able to stay unbeaten but Moraine Valley played tough until the very end.
The Pioneers went to halftime scoreless but went on to score twice in the second half for a 2-1 Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference victory on Tuesday.
Antonio Leal continued his torrid season scoring the first goal nearly 10 minutes into the second half.
Lapo Carradori made a nice run and found leal who beat the keeper to get the Pioneers (4-0-1) on the board.
Leal did a little distributing finding
Eric Suarez who hit a bullet past the keeper to put the Pioneers up two. But, the final 20 minutes belonged to Moraine Valley. The Cyclones were fouled in the box which resulted in a converted penalty kick.
The Pioneers withstood the Moraine Valley onslaught for the final 10 minutes to pick up the victory.
