Box Score DES PLAINES, IL - Prairie State needed a win to clinch the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference outright.
The Pioneers got going early and often and took home the conference crown with a 4-1 victory over Oakton on Tuesday.
Antonio Leal continued his incredible season with a goal in the sixth minute giving the Pioneers a 1-0 lead. Mohamed Elsahfie and 
Patrick Mrowca scored goals before halftime to give the No. 5 ranked Pioneers a commanding 3-0 lead heading into halftime. Leal put the game on ice for the Pioneers with a second-half goal.

Jose Rico all had assists for the Pioneers. 
The win gives Prairie State an unbeaten regular season and assures it will play all of their Region IV Tournament games at home.
The Pioneers will return to the pitch on May 15th for the opening round of the Region IV Tournament. Their opponent has yet to be determined.Â
