PALATINE, IL - Prairie State scored early and often in its doubleheader against Harper on Monday.
The Pioneers combined for 27 runs in the doubleheader sweep.

The Pioneers scored two runs in the first inning and led wire-to-wire.
Pam Muth delivered the big hit with a run-scoring single. The Pioneers scored two more in the second inning. After a

Bethany Adney singled her home.
Brooke Dusseau singled home
Shaelynn Svoboda.
Kristina Adney singled home Dusseau and
Bethany Adney hit a 2-run homer giving the Pioneers a commanding 8-1 lead.
Cameryn Standerfer led Prairie State with three hits.

Pam Muth each had two hits for Prairie State.
Bethany Adney drove in three runs.
Dusseau was excellent in the circle picking up the win striking out 13 Hawks while giving up just three earned runs.
Prairie State 15, Harper 4 (5 inn.)
The Pioneers picked up right where they left off in Game 1 scoring five times in the first.
Dusseau drove in the game's first run with a triple. Muth singled home Dusseau.
Angelena Green,
Kristina Adney and
Hannah Bilinski each had run scoring singles in the inning.
Dusseau had a perfect 4 for 4 game while Muth had three hits and four RBIs. Green,
Anamaree Ramirez and Svoboda each had two hits. The Pioneers finished the game with a whopping 17 hits. All nine players had at least one hit.
Svoboda homered in the game and was excellent in the circle giving up only two earned runs while striking out four.
Prairie State will take on Elgin on Wednesday.
