Box Score CHICAGO HEIGHTS - Prairie State fought hard but couldn't muster a win in a 3-0 loss to nonconference foe Triton on Tuesday.

The Pioneers lost 25-17 in the first set while struggling in a 25-10 loss in the second set. Prairie State (4-12) was tied at 19 in the third set but was outscored 6-1 over the next seven points. 

Alexis Robinson led the Pioneers with seven kills. Kimani Thorton and Anna Robinson each had four kills. Anna Robinson led the squad with eight aces while Alexis Robinson had six. Geonna Wright led the Pioneers with 12 digs. 

Prairie State will have its Sophomore Night against Oakton on Wednesday.
