Box Score SOUTH HOLLAND - Prairie State went into halftime with the lead but couldn't keep pace with South Suburban in the second half. 

The Bulldogs scored early and often in the second half and defeated the Pioneers 79-59 on Thursday.

Prairie State (2-2) had a three-point lead heading into halftime but couldn't keep down a potent South Suburban offense.

The Pioneers were led by Jared Johnson's 25 points and 12 rebounds. Rashaad Williams had 14 points while Brelon Hill added 10 points. Hill also had four assists for Prairie State. 

The Pioneers will play College of DuPage at 2 P.M. on Saturday.
