Box Score CHICAGO - New Prairie State coach Shawn Chism started off on the right foot.

Chism's Pioneers dominated from start to finish in his debut defeating Daley College 114-43 on Tuesday. 

Bria Cole was outstanding for Prairie State (1-0) scoring a team-high 23 points and 19 rebounds. Sophomore Riley Gaynor was excellent as well scoring 21 points while grabbing 10 boards. She was just two assists shy of a triple-double with eight. 

Kimani Thorton had 19 points while Gia Wright added 18 points for Prairie State. Cymone Brown's 15 points rounded out the night's double-digit scorers.

Prairie State led by 20 after a quarter and by 47 at halftime. The Pioneers held Daley to 14 points combined in the second and third quarters. 

Prairie State will travel to Joliet Junior College on Thursday.
