CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. --- Prairie State was unable to sustain a lot of offense in a 4-0 loss to Joliet Junior College in its season opener on Saturday.

The Pioneers held the Wolves to a goal in the first half, but JJC scored three times in the second half to put the game away. 

Shannon Schultz had 13 saves for Prairie State. 

The Pioneers will play at Elgin on Wednesday.
