Box Score ELGIN, IL - The Pioneers scored early and often in a 7-2 win over Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference foe Elgin on Thursday. 

Prairie State (9-3-1, 4-1) scored four times in the first half and shut down Elgin's attack allowing nothing in the second half while scoring three goals of its own.

Antonio Leal continued his outstanding season with a pair of goals in the fifth and 16th minute. Elian Munoz and Andres Osorio each scored two goals apiece. Speedster Michael Fulop scored the other goal for the Pioneers. Osorio added two assists while Raul Garcia and Irwin Pillai each had an assist. Fulop and Leal were more than scorer's as well each adding an assist.

Prairie State has been solid on the road with only one loss and one tie away from Chicago Heights. The Pioneers continue their road ways with two more away from home before returning home to play rival Morton on Tues. Oct. 8. The Pioneers play next at Malcolm X on Saturday and at McHenry County on Tuesday.
