HOMEWOOD, IL - Prairie State played tough in its first match of the season against Olivet Nazarene University. 
However, the Pioneers fell 4-3 to the Tigers losing a tiebreak in the final match. 
Prairie State picked up wins at No. 2, 4 and 5 singles. 
Marek Slojewski won his match in a tiebreaker after losing the first set. He dominated the tiebreaker 10-2 after a 6-4 win in the second set. 
At No. 4 singles, 
Jedrzej Brodski cruised to a 6-4, 6-4 to open his Prairie State career. At. No. 5 singles, 
Richard Ngwarwi won the first set and then owned a tiebreaker 10-2 to pick up the victory for the Pioneers (0-1). 
Prairie State will take on Illinois State University on Saturday.
