Box Score CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - Prairie State took a little bit to get going against Morton.

But, an excellent second half propelled the Pioneers to their fourth straight victory and the season sweep over Morton.

The Pioneers went on an early second half run which propelled the squad to a 71-66 victory on Thursday.

Prairie State outscored Morton by nine in the second half.

Jared Johnson continued his All-American type season with 25 points and eight rebounds. Breion Hill led the squad with 11 rebounds. 

Will Mendez had one of his best games of the season scoring 15 points nailing five 3-pointers. 

Prairie State (16-7, 6-2 Skyway) will play Tuesday at Elgin Community College
