Lais Martins has been Prairie State's most prolific goal scorer all season.
Saturday's game against College of DuPage featured Martins' best strike.Â
With the match in overtime, Martins blasted a free kick past the outstretched arms of the DuPage keeper for a 3-2 Pioneers victory.
The goal came after the Pioneers squandered a 2-0 lead in the second half.Â
Prairie State got this lead with the help of two excellent goals.
Cecilia Alba hit a shot from distance at the net and beat the keeper for the game's first goal and
Sibelle Dias hit a rocket past the keeper to make the lead two goals. Alexa Webber assisted on Dias' goal.
The Pioneers will find out their postseason fate in the coming days.
