The Pioneers fell 17-5 in five innings in the first game but salved a Game 2 win 6-4 on Friday. 

College of Lake County 17, Prairie State 5 (5 inn.)

The Pioneers scored four times in the first inning but couldn't muster up much offense after that.

Brooke Dusseau was just a single short of the single 

Brittney Adney had a perfect 3 for 3 day while Pam Muth had a pair of hits for Prairie State. 

Prairie State 6, College of Lake County 4

A four-run fourth inning propelled the Pioneers to their first win of the season,. 

Adney had a run scoring double and Angelina Green added a triple in the inning. 

Svoboda picked up the win in the circle for Prairie State.
