Box Score 2 CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - Prairie State made a solid comeback in Game 1 against Joliet Junior College but lost the lead late in a 10-8 loss.
Prairie State didn't play quite as well in Game 2 falling 17-4 in six innings.
Joliet Junior College 10, Prairie State 8
Prairie State fell down six runs early to the Wolves but came all the way back to take an 8-7 lead.Â
Unfortunately, Joliet came roaring back in the top of the seventh scoring three times to pick up the win.
Pam Muth blasted a two-run homer to knot the game at seven. She finished with three hits in the game.
Shaelynn Svoboda had two hits for Prairie State (4-12).
Angelena Green added a triple.

After the tough loss, the Pioneers didn't muster a lot of offense in the second game.
The Wolves started the game with eight unanswered runs putting the Pioneers in a deep hole.Â
Brooke Dusseau crushed a two-run homer in the game.Â
Prairie State will square up with the Wolves again on Friday. This time the games will be in Joliet with a 1 P.M. start time.
