Box Score SUGAR GROVE, IL - Prairie State continued its unbeaten season with a hard fought 3-2 win over Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference foe Waubonsee on Tuesday.

The No. 7 Pioneers jumped out to a two-goal lead in the first half. 

Antonio Leal scored his ninth goal of the season to get Prairie State (5-0-1) on the board at t he 33 minute mark. At the 39 minute mark, Elian Munoz put the Pioneers up two with an assist from Irwin Pillai.

Lapo Carradori scored the team's third goal. Mohamed Elshafie had two assists for the Pioneers.

Waubonsee rallied with two second half goals but was unable to complete the comeback.

Yoherlian Bejerano had four saves for the Pioneers. The Pioneers will square off against McHenry County College on Saturday.
