Box Score SOUTH HOLLAND, IL - Prairie State picked up its first win of the season over rival South Suburban. 

The Pioneers scored twice in the first half and cruised to a 3-1 win on Saturday. 

Stefano Mazzariol scored in the 20th minute while Yanis Lakhlifi scored in the 34th minute. Angel Arismendiz scored in the 60th minute. Mohamed Elsahfie, Jose Rico and Angel Arismendiz had the assists for Prairie State (1-1).

Torben Busack had two saves for the Pioneers. 

Prairie State will take on McHenry County College on Thursday.
