Box Score CRYSTAL LAKE, IL - Prairie State played a tough contest against McHenry County College, but the Pioneers pulled away in the second half for a 2-0 victory on Thursday. 

The Pioneers had a lot of shots but couldn't break through in the first half. El Kati Taoufik changed that in the second half scoring in the 62nd minute to give Prairie State (2-1) the lead. Mohamed Elshafie picked up the assist on Taoufik's goal.

Stefano Mazzariol added insurance in the 83rd minute nailing a free kick.

No. 7 Prairie State will look to extend its winning streak to three games at No. 14 Parkland on Tuesday.
