London and Phillips’ Big Efforts Not Enough as Pioneers Fall at Home

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. --- Prairie State sophomore forward Antonio Phillips (Crete-Monee H.S.) continued his march toward a 1,000-point career Thursday, but it wasn't enough as the Pioneers fell to NJCAA Region 4 counterpart Rock Valley 68-57 at the PSC Fieldhouse.

With the setback, the Pioneers dropped to 4-10 overall.

Phillips delivered his seventh double-double of the campaign, registering 15 points and 15 rebounds.

Phillips now sits fifth on the national charts with 140 total rebounds.

Sophomore Chakaris London (Homewood-Flossmoor H.S.) added 19 points and eight rebounds.

Phillips and London were the Pioneers' lone double-digit scorers.
