Pioneers Fall to Joliet at Home

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. --- Despite a strong effort, the Prairie State baseball team was unable to make its way past Joliet Thursday, falling to the Wolves 10-9 at the PSC Athletic Complex.
 
The setback moved the Pioneers' record to 15-11 on the campaign. 
 
The Pioneers picked up a strong effort at the plate from sophomore designated hitter Felix Arias (The Vine Christian Academy) who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and a run.
 
Freshman catcher Juan Pinuelas (Goliath Academy, MEXICO) also drove in a pair of runs following a 1-for-5 effort which included a pair of RBI. 
 
Sophomore center fielder Nathan Odaira (C.K. Colegio H.S., BRAZIL) recorded PSC's only extra base hit, a double. 
 
The Pioneers will see action next on Saturday when they take on Skyway Conference foe Oakton at the Athletic Complex.
