Box Score SOUTH HOLLAND - Prairie State continues to cruise past its opponents.
The Pioneers scored a pair of goals to defeat rival South Suburban 2-1 on Saturday. With a win over Kennedy-King in the regular season finale, the Pioneers (14-3-1) will assure themselves of the top seed and home field advantage for the Region IV Tournament.
Antonio Leal continued his torrid goal scoring ability notching Prairie State's first goal in the 30th minute.
Raul Garcia added the second goal in the 72nd minute with an assist from Leal and the Pioneers held on from there. Jose Salgado had two saves for the Pioneers.
Prairie State will finish its regular season at Kennedy-King on Wednesday.
