Box Score SOUTH HOLLAND - Prairie State had the lead over South Suburban for one quarter but the Bulldogs took over after that point. 

South Suburban erased the early deficit and cruised to a 77-40 victory over the Pioneers on Thursday. 

Prairie State (1-2) was led by Kimani Thorton, who scored a team-high 16 points. Riley Gaynor added 13 for Prairie State. Gia Wright was tough on the glass with 10 rebounds.

The Pioneers will square off against College of DuPage on Saturday at noon.
