Box Score CHAMPAIGN, IL - Prairie State has not been shy when it comes to scheduling excellent opponents. 

The Pioneers have played three top five teams during the 2021 season picking up a pair of wins. 

Last week, the Pioneers cruised to a win over Morton and on Thursday No. 3 Prairie State defeated No. 4 Parkland 5-3. 

El Kati Taoufik led the scoring with an assist from Irwin Pillai. Yanis Lakhlifi scored his first of three goals unassisted. Mohamed Elshafie assured the Pioneers would have a halftime lead putting in the team's third goal.

Lakhlifi added both goals in the second half to put the Cobras away. 

Elshafie added an assist as did Stefano Mazzariol.
