Team Purple Takes Game 1 of PSC World Series

The opening game of PSC baseball's Purple vs. Black World Series went to Team Purple yesterday afternoon. Paced by an eight-strikeout performance from sophomore left hander Erick Cerezo, Team Purple won the contest 14-1.

At the plate, Fabian Romero went 2-for-3 with a double and triple while Gabriel Chirinos delivered a 3-for-3, 4 RBI afternoon.

Nolan Wiebe recorded the lone RBI for Team Black.

The series continues this afternoon at the PSC Sports Complex, first pitch 3 p.m.
