Moraine Shuts Out PSC at Home

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. --- Despite an all-out effort which saw a total of six shots on goal produced, the PSC women's soccer team was unable to garner a victory Wednesday, falling to rival Moraine Valley 5-0 at the Pioneer Sports Complex.

The setback dropped PSC's overall record to 1-7 and 0-5 in Illinois Skyway Conference competition.

Despite the loss, PSC did have several chances to score throughout the match, with the closest coming when sophomore Shamiah Stinchcombe-Brown (York memorial Collegiate Institute, CANADA) blasted a shot off the cross bar early in the second half.

Stinchcombe-Brown put two shots on the frame.

Sophomore goal keeper Lily Sanchez (Argo H.S.) made 10 saves in the match.

PSC will see action next on Saturday when they square off against Bryant and Stratton in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin in a noon kickoff.
