Adams’ 32 Lead the Charge as Pioneers Down Wright

Big Effort Fuels Second Straight Win

CHICAGO Ill. --- Prairie State freshman forward Renasia Adams (Hillcrest H.S.) capped off an impressive week which saw her tally 63 points and33 rebounds with an impressive effort Saturday to lead the Pioneers to a win over NJCAA Region 4 counterpart Wright College.
 
Adams' 32-tally outing helped set the pace for PSC in an 85-46 win.
 
The win pushed PSC's overall record to 5-11.
 
Adams shot 11-of-15 from the field and a perfect 10-of-10 from the free throw line.  She also grabbed seven rebounds.
 
The 32-point showing represents the Pioneers' highwater mark for any player this season.
 
The 5-foot-8 Adams wasn't the only Pioneer to score in double figures either.
 
Fellow freshman guard Chanteze Holland (Morton Senior H.S.) added 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field. 
 
Freshman forward Azariah Love (Hillcrest H.S.) recorded a double-double thank to a 12-point, 11-rebound showing.
 
Sophomore point guard Alyssa Quinones (Whiting H.S.) also tallied a dozen points while making off with four steals.
 
The Pioneers will see action next on Tuesday when they host Illinois Skyway Conference counterpart Waubonsee at the PSC Fieldhouse.
