Box Score CHICAGO HEIGHTS - The elements were not fun for the opening round of the Region IV Tournament. It rained from start to finish, but the Pioneers were just a touch better as Michael Fulop hit a laser past the DuPage keeper with just under four minutes to go to secure a 2-1 victory on Saturday.

The win assures Prairie State a Tuesday date with the winner of No. 4 Waubonsee and No. 5 South Suburban. The match will begin at 3 PM and will be at Prairie State.

Prairie State started the game just as well as it ended it. Alexis Cantero exploded for the first goal of the game just 21 seconds in. The Pioneers played excellent defense for most of the game but in the 81st minute DuPage was able to score the equalizer after a flukey hand ball inside the box. 

Ryan Cayton was excellent on a tough day to be in goal. The keeper had five saves to secure Prairie State's 11th consecutive win.
