CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. --- Prairie State played tight with Parkland for a half but eventually fell 3-0 on Saturday. 

The loss is the first for the Pioneers (4-1-1) this season. Prairie State trailed by only a goal at half but couldn't muster a lot of second half offense. Parkland scored early in the second half for insurance and put a third one in the back of the net to put the game away.

Jose Salgado had four saves.

The Pioneers will play at Moraine Valley on Thursday.
