Box Score CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - Prairie State was within one run before the game went the wrong direction in the fourth inning.

The Pioneers gave up five runs in the third and fell 22-3 in seven innings to Kankakee Community College on Thursday.

Chasen Lewis, CJ Seymour, Scott Gates and Alex Perez each had hits for Prairie State (4-26).

Kevin Reid pitched three innings and didn't give up any earned runs.

The Pioneers will host Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference rival Oakton on Saturday.
