Pioneers Battle Hard Against Rock Valley En Route to Draw

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. --- After 90 minutes of all-out, hard-fought action, the Prairie State men's soccer team produced a 2-2 draw against NJCAA Region 4 counterpart Rock Valley Saturday afternoon at the Pioneer Sports Complex.

The tie moved the Pioneers' record to 4-4-2 on the campaign.

Rock Valley opened the scoring in the eighth minute.

PSC countered in the 29^th when sophomore forward Jim Boulanger (Lycee Alfred Kastler H.S., FRANCE) tallied his first goal of the campaign, courtesy of a well-placed shot.

Boulanger then chipped in an assist a minute later when freshman midfielder Alexis Natetayavicchit (LaSalle St. Nicolas H.S., FRANCE) gave the Pioneers a 2-1 lead.

Rock Valley came back and knotted the tilt again in the 52^nd.

The Pioneers will see action next on Tuesday when they host Illinois Skyway Conference counterpart Waubonsee at the Pioneer Sports Complex (kickoff 4 p.m.).
