South Sub Outlasts PSC in Three

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, Ill. --- Despite another all-out effort, Thursdaynight, the Prairie State volleyball team was unable to garner a win, falling to NJCAA Region 4counteraprt South Suburban in straight sets, 25-13, 25-19, 25-9 at the PSC Fieldhouse.

The setback dropped the Pioneers to 0-2 on the campaign.

Despite the loss, PSC did pick up strong contributions from freshman outside hitter Odelia Gascon (Hammond Central H.S.), who smashed down four kills and picked up 11 digs. Freshman setter Samantha De Laurentis (St. Laurence H.S.) contributed seven assists.

The Pioneers will see action next on Wednesday when they travel to Morton College for a 6 PM road date against the Panthers.
